06.07.11 Brass and New Album Name Revealed

It's been a little while since our last piece of news, but as observant watchers of our little website will have noticed we've been quite active on the Twitter and Facebook front lately. Those 2 places are certainly a great way to keep up with what we are doing on a more regular basis. You can find the links to follow us at either site at the top of the page.

First some news of the long (loooong) awaited 8th album. While we wait to finish it off we have given it a name so that instead of referring to it as "our forthcoming 8th album" it will now be known as "This Rome...". Yes that's right - expect to hear a lot more about "This Rome..." in the coming months as we finally put the finishing touches to it.

One of the main things to finish off will be the recording of the brass for 6 of the new songs on the album. The other night we finally got all the brass players together for the first time to rehearse and it sounded pretty darn good. We really can't wait to get it all down and out there for your listening pleasure. As to when that will be... well we hope it won't be much longer but these days families, jobs and life in general tend to slow things down. Just rest assured that when This Rome... does land it will be well worth the wait.
