09.12.11 :: New album cover unveiled
It's not long now until the festive period and so we thought in an advent calendar style, we would open todays door and find a sneak preview of our new album artwork.
And here it is...
Exciting... I know, we're such teases. Don't worry there will be some music to go with it soon enough. All the tracks are being mixed as we speak by long time producer Carl Rosamond.
The artwork uses a fantastic print from the highly talented Fiona Wilson. It's the first time her work has been featured on an album cover and we're delighted she agreed to us using it. You can find out all about Fiona and see more of what she does via her website http://fiona-wilson.blogspot.com/
In 2012 we will be starting work on the recording of the follow up to the album we haven't released yet (project management!?!), we will be making 3 (yes THREE) new videos, posing for some photos in January and we will also be playing a handful of exclusive gigs to support the release of "This Rome...".
One things for sure is that Instant Species 15th year looks like it will already be as creative and busy as ever.
Christmas will be a time for us to eat too much, rock out to Roy Wood at Holmfirth Picturedrome and enjoy plenty of time with our lovely families. We hope you have a great Crimbo and New Year and thanks for all your support in 2011.
