27.10.11 :: Remix, Facebook Downloads and Album News
It's been a while since we brought you any news so in the wake of such major announcements as The Stones Roses reforming and Steps getting back together here is a little bit from the world of IS.
Instant Species - This Is Where The Trouble Begins (Spaghetti Bob Mix) by Spaghetti Bob
We know it seems to be taking forever for "This Rome..." to appear (we feel it more than any of you) so in the mean time here is something new from us. Well technically as it's a remix it's something old but it's been given a smart new jumper to wear. Our erstwhile guitarist Bob Diablo Spencer is the man at the helm under the moniker Spaghetti Bob. We think it's rather ace and hope you do too.
In some other news we have now got a lot of our back catalogue available to download via our Facebook page - so for those people who are Facebook addicts they don't even have to venture out of their secure FB bubble to enjoy the sounds of the Species.
The recording on "This Rome..." is now complete. We had a lot of fun working with our makeshift brass section and the results sound pretty amazing. The whole shebang is now with our long time producer Carl Rosamond for mixing and fixing and with any luck some results should start to appear soon. As soon as we have some tracks you'll be the first to hear it.
